Ottumwa Welcome & Connect is here to guide you through your transition to Ottumwa and help you become a part of our community.

When businesses partner with Welcome & Connect Service, they roll out the red carpet for prospective candidates with our professional community tour service. We will also help with their relocation by assisting with finding housing, trailing spouse assistance, and providing “must-have” information about Ottumwa.

One major struggle people have when relocating to a new community is not feeling connected to it.  Ottumwa’s Welcome & Connect service has put together a series of interactive, social gatherings called “Engage” designed to help you make meaningful friendships, experience Ottumwa dining options, and putting you in locations that you may not have visited all while teaching you about our city.  We will introduce you to information on Ottumwa and how to make the most of your time here. Topics will include information on Ottumwa’s History, Recreation, Economics, Arts and Culture. “Engage” meets once a week over a series of five weeks.  We are now taking reservations for our next session which begins
